Etude House Chocolate Smudge Liner #1 Review

Hello everyone! Today we're going to review Etude House's new release, the sweet recipe line! We got ourselves several stuffs from the line and decided to get number 1 and 2 for the eyeliner. We accidentally threw the plastic packaging away, sorry TT_TT

The cap is placed on the bottom and-- the packaging is soooo cute we can't resist spending our money on it, haha! Btw, here are some swatches.

I have never tried a gel liner before and i thought it will be a waste to use it together with my bad eyeliner-drawing skills. But unexpectedly this functions better than the normal liquid liner! I can finally make clean and neat lines with this eyeliner. Will definitely buy this for the second time!

I got mine in dark chocolate number one, and Jiyoon had milk chocolate in number two, we will review it for you guys soon! I will recommend number two for a more natural look but number one is better for a defined and fresh look. For me i personally think that number two resembles the colour of a brown eyeshadow.

OMG, excuse my untidy eyebrows and my tired eyes (Plus the bad lighting, lol.) I really like this eyeliner because you can create both natural and edgy look (Just apply more eyeliner to your eyes.)

Soo.. Overall thoughts?
This eyeliner is really pigmented and it has a very creamy texture, which makes it more easier for you guys who doesn't have any drawing talents on eyeliner, haha. For natural look? Sure. Just apply this eyeliner (No eyeshadows or whatever) and you're good to go. So far this eyeliner had become my most favorite eyeliner! And.. no, i didn't agree what it says on the package that said 'smear-proof'. Man, that was quite a lie.

Too Cool For School BB Foundation Lunch Box #2 Review

Hello everyone~! This time we're back with Too Cool For School BB Foundation Lunch Box in number 2, watery skin. This BB foundation contains SPF 37 PA++. It's really convienient for summer, isn't it?

The BB cream has a very thick texture so you don't have to take a very big amount of it. It also has a plastic spatula to help to take the product out, it makes it more hygenic.

But still, it's better to use a brush rather than  sticking the spatula onto your face and placing it back to the container to use it for tomorrow.

The BB cream has a a medium coverage, and it has a very nice scent. This also brightens up the complexion a little bit.

See the difference?

Also, you can pull that ribbon thingy to open the case of the concealer and highlighter! This should be stated as a three in one product.

The concealer covers up the dark circles pretty well as this is more like a cream-based, not as watery as other seperate concealers.

As for the highlighter, it reflects pretty much to every light available and this would give the effect of taller nose! (Use the highlighter on your T-zone). We never really see this type of highlighter.

Overall thoughts:
This BB cream is really suitable for those who likes to travel. It is really compact, no mess! It stays on the skin for a long period of time, maybe a little touch ups after 6 hours. Well overall, we really do recommend this over Etude House's BB cream for summer. Actually, both is comparable. :)

What about the packaging?
Recently i knocked off the bottle and it spilled, so.. really, i wish it was a pump bottle. But the BB cream is fine, though. Its really cute but we found this bottle had nothing similar to a 'lunch box'. Haha!

Texture of BB cream:
Light | Normal | Thick | Heavy

Coverage of BB cream:
Light | Okay | Medium | Thick

Coverage of concealer:
Light | Okay | Medium | Thick

Performance of the highlighter:
Okay | Nice | Good | Great

Etude House Skin Malgem Smoother and Emulsion Review

We're back with Etude House's product, Skin Malgem! What we have here are both the Toner (Smoother) and the emulsion. Malgem is a korean word for cleanliness, clarity and pureness. And moreover, this product is endorsed by SHINee! (Picture Heavy!)

And this time we got ourselves the Skin Malgem's smoother. The bottle is not made up of glass, for whoever thought it was. It is made up from plastic and it has a very cute design!

(You can zoom the pictures by placing it on the new tab.)

It is the best to use the toner after washing your face. This toner also removes dead particle and bacterias as it is an exfoliation toner, so this one brightens up your complexion if you use it daily. Your face will feel very fresh, light, clean and moisturised! Simply use a cotton pad for this. Usually you will be given two free merchandise; the facial mask and the cotton pad.

Okay, first of all. This is one of the weirdest cotton pad we've ever seen. The texture itself is very rough and somewhat a fabric-texture. But after we drench the pad up it gets really smooth, smoother than your normal cotton pad you usually find from the drugstore.

Also, this is the facial mask which transforms from this little coin shape into a mask sheet. Sounds really weird, right? Maybe some of you know what that means.

This is the weird transformation:

This mask maintains the moisture in our skin and helps the skin to absorb the product better, much better than dabbing the cotton allover your face. We recommend to use this once or twice a week. It has a texture of a tissue sheet and it tears easily, so please handle it carefully!

Skin Malgem Emulsion is basically the matching moisturizer used for any five types of the toner. Use this after you apply the toner and it gives your skin a healthy glow. It will not clog pores since it is water-based. It is really thin so you won't feel anything so heavy and dense covering your skin in the morning. We recommend washing your face twice a day, once for dry-skin.

We promise you your skin will feel smoother, cleaner and whiter after a week! This apply to the normal skin types though. So please do buy the toner according to your skin type. Using the wrong types can cause really bad breakouts, so please! We recommend using 'fresh' for treating both blackheads and oily skin.

Overall thoughts for Skin Malgem's Smoother:
Pros:  -It really brings an instant glowing look when it is applied to the face.
-Moisturizes really well, even better than our usual toner.
-It smells pleasant, but is not too strong.
-Minimizes pores and cleans out impurities as it removes dead skin.

Cons: -A little pricey here.
-Causes some breakouts if you aren't used to these types of toner or even due to over-using.

Overall thoughts for Skin Malgem's Emulsion:
Pros: -The consistency is really light.
-It doesn't clog pores and it brightens up the skin complexion.
-It smells really fresh and moisturize your skin for quite a long time.
-No irritation (Compared where this is used without the toner.)

Cons: -Doesn't have SPF like any other moisturizer.
-And that's it!

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream #3 Review

Today we're going to review Etude House's Precious Mineral BB cream. It has 30/PA++ Spf and promotes a brighter-looking skin. It also has an anti-wrinkle and whitening properties. This one is shade number 3 which gives a sheer glowing skin without making your face looks completely white and cakey.

The plastic pump makes it more hygenic to use and you don't have to dab your finger in the container like any other BB creams. It comes with a plastic cap too.

This is the picture before the usage. As you can see, Jiyoon's skin has some acne breakouts, pores and a little bit of redness visible on both sides of her nose. The skin texture was a little bit rough, too. So remember that  not all korean skins aren't as good as you imagine.

All the pictures are lightened by natural lightning. We did not exaggerate the colour tones and just had whatever it shows, you can prove it :). Even by this BB cream alone, you can have a better looking skin tone, and it even looks smoother in a close up.

Your skin tone really depends on which shade you should choose. Jiyoon's skin tone is more to the oily and yellow-ish type so she could use either shade number 2 or three. The reason why we chose the darkest shade because BB creams will lighten their colours when they are applied to the skin.

Look at how they even up the skin tone? This BB cream is also oil-free so that it wont clog pores. Shade one and two were made for oily and dry skin. So if you have combination skin, shade number 3 is the best for you!

PROS:
*Gives an amazing coverage, and you'll be amazed by the results!
*You don't need to use foundation or primer as BB cream will cover it all up. It will instantly brighten up the lower eye area too.
*A little amount goes a long way.
*Contains SPF 30 and brightening, anti-wrinkle properties.
*Is stated as one of the famous BB cream and you can find it easily allover Asia.
*Feels light and has a matte finish.
*Shade 3 is the darkest but it gives you the most concealing properties.
*Acts like a moisturizer for your skin and gives a healthy, glowing shine.

CONS:
*Doesn't really last for long despite the 'All Day Strong' formula.
*Can be a little pricey.
*Caucasions aren't recommended to use this due to the limit color choices for their skin. Not really recommended for pale skin too.

We really recommend this product and this is our all time favorite. We wil, ofcourse, repurchase this in the future. It really compliments the skin tone and moreover, it's literally a 3 in 1 product, plus the benefits! You can purchase this in most online stores, including E-bay. Consider on choosing the right skin tone!

Wait for our next review! Love you guys :) Till next time~
